Since the beginning, Medabil Building S/A has always concerned about the quality of its products, having the quality control done by visual and dimensional inspection in the end of productive process.
In August, 1996, Medabil, already a traditional manufacturer of metal structures, with Medabil System, settled a Joint-venture with a North American company, Varco-Pruden Buildings, constituting Medabil S/A.
This period, Medabil already counted on the Quality Control section, being responsible for realizing the inspection of the final process with the purpose of avoiding that manufacturing errors reach the client.
In January of 1997, there was a restructuring in the company and together with Varco-Pruden they brought the VP System. It is a technical program, exclusive and modern for the production and manufacturing of pre-built metal structures giving to the client a high quality and low cost product.
In the same year, it was created the Quality Coordination with the purpose of guaranteeing the quality of the product from the receiving of the raw material, passing through the productive process (self-control installed in the work positions where the quality is responsibility of each operator) until the delivery of the product in the building.
Since June, 2nd, 1999, Medabil maintains the Quality System according to ISO 9001, version 1994, to guarantee the quality of its products and in all sections of the company, assuring quality throughout departments, searching continuous improvement, becoming internationally competitive, offering the best solutions for metal structures and attending the necessities of our clients.
In the end of 1999, Medabil participates for the first time of the Quality Prize RS, ed. 2000 of Quality and Productive Gaucho Program against competitive companies.
Utilizing the Evaluation System and company Evaluation Report of Quality Prize RS, aims were settled with performance indicators improving its management processes through training, dedication, commitment, search for perfection and sensitivity of employees.
This way, in its second participation for the prize, on June 5th, 2001, it received the Quality Prize RS – Bronze Trophy, ed. 2001, as an act of recognition for its effort and dedication related to Leadership, Management Process and Results that the company obtained as well as the total quality management for continuous improvement and innovator aspects of the company’s activities.
Always concerned with its client’s satisfaction and continuous updating, on July 9th, 2002, Medabil certified once more its System of Quality Management in its two industries, according to ISO 9001, version 2000, having its clients and continuous improvement of its System of Quality Management as the chiefly focus.
On January 22nd of the same year, Medabil opens its second industry in Nova Bassano/RS with 12.500m² creating a new industrial complex, being considered as one of the most modern industries in the national market for metal structure production, employing high quality technology in metal building systems.
In September, 2003, Medabil incorporated Metal Ross Metallurgical Industry and transformed it into its third industry in Nova Araçá/RS with 5.000m². It products are truss beams, barjoist and ventilation systems (ridge vents, blowers, fans and louvre) and they are being produced in the headquarter nowadays, completing its product’s line.
